Here Comes A Smart Bag That Charges Your Gadgets!

The smart bag not only charges all your gadgets but also cleans and protects your devices.

The world is getting smart enough! We have smartphones, smart cameras, smart watches and now comes the 'smart bag'. Smart bag is a new innovative bag, which not just holds your gadgets but also charges them up. Surprised! A company named Kickstarter has come out with a smart bag called Phorce.

The company is also offering the bags for up to $119 or Rs 6,000 and there is one more version designed specially for the Apple MacBook and is priced at $279 or Rs 15,000. Phorce is equipped with a wall charger, which can be simply plugged in and charge the bag in next four hours.

Kickstarter said, “On top of charging all your other gear, Phorce for Mac can also power a MacBook for up to 7 extra hours. Thanks to its integrated lightweight battery pack, Phorce is powerful enough to charge an iPhone 5 over 8 times, a Galaxy S3 about 6 times, or an iPad Mini 2.5 times."

The smart bag is capable of charging three USB devices at one time. You can charge your smartphone, laptop, tablets, iPods, camera, smart watches, portable speakers and many more devices. The users can conveniently adjust the bag as per their needs. Its shape can be changed as a backpack, a shoulder bag and a suitcase.

There is also an application developed by the team for Android and iOS, which keeps you informed about the power charge left in your bag and how you can use it. You can set a reminder to your bag, which tells you when the bag is needed to be charged. To top it all, the bag features Bluetooth, which can be connected to any of your devices, be it smartphone or a tablet. There is also a security system in the bag which minimises the possibility of you losing it. You will receive an automatic SMS whenever the bag is out of range.

Those who are completely fascinated by this piece of technology can checkout the Kickstarter website and buyers located outside the USA will be charged with an extra $25.

“In every dual-core phone, there’s a PC trying to get out.” The statement itself is self-explanatory as to what Ubuntu is trying to do. Ubuntu developers want to transform all dual core based Android smartphones into a full-fledged computer via Ubuntu for Android. Expand your service portfolio from the smart phone to the smart desktop by delivering productivity desktop apps, including managed. Windows apps as a service on your network. Satisfy demand for first PCs to families in emerging economies with no legacy wired connectivity."

Samsung To Bring Unbreakable Flexible Phones By 2013

Korea-based Samsung is looking forward to bring unbreakable and bendable smartphones by next year in the market. Samsung has already started sampling smartphones that use plastic display instead of glass. The company showcased plastic polymer displays that could be rolled or bend. These display are tough enough to handle any kind of stress from falls to blows. So, can smartphones with flexible display be a differentiator for Samsung in the highly competitive smartphone market.

Samsung, previously, displayed a prototype of its flexible AMOLED screens at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show), which led to Galaxy Skin. It sported a single display that can be folded and become more compact. Recent reports suggest that the company is naming the technology as Youm. These displays are expected to feature in their upcoming smartphones from Samsung.

The new screens will be flexible, thanks to the special treatment given to the TFT, which makes it ‘unbreakable’. The company has even sent the name and logo for trademark registration in the US. Some functioning prototypes of the display are expected at the Samsung event slated for the month of May. And it could come in interesting displays up to 800 X 480 pixel resolution.
